    Hi

I have just bought Mark of Chaos

I am running dual monitors; generally games are displayed on one monitor (primary) and the mouse cursor is restricted to that monitor.

With Mark of Chaos, the mouse can leave the primary and move onto the secondary, that sux :p

Just wondering if anyone knows of a workaround for this ?

    7600GS - Nview desktop manager - latest forceware - XP Pro SP2

The patch (1.72 US) makes no mention of fixing this issue, and I am having issues downloading it anyway.
    Its 300MB+ and I only have dial-up.
The first time (softpedia) I tried to download it, Avast took issue with it immediately.
I am now trying to download it from strategyinformer and it has paused at 52% and is not looking like resuming

So, if anyone knows of a good place to download this patch (that allows download managers) that would be handy too.

I have looked through FAQ's and posted on their forum, but it looks like it is not very well maintained

I would think if you are going to make a game, you would host the patches yourself :mad

    Thanks :)

I could not get it to work

It involves modifying the shortcut target, and no matter how i tried it, XP would not accept it as a valid target :cry

I am now downloading the patch from fileplanet, so in another 20 or 30 hours I may be able to play the game rolleyes

They have either stopped making good games, or I have lost the knack of finding them.

The last few games I have bought have been :crap

    Mark of Chaos
    Mechwarrior 4 + expansions
Heroes of Might & Magic 4
    Warhammer 40,000 Fire Warrior

Had the same issue with the fileplanet download, when I tried it a second time Avast decided it didn't like it anymore.

Finally managed to download the patch from
    http://www.strategyinformer.com/

I had 'Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed'
    selected in IE7
Tools - Internet Options - Advanced

deselected it and had no problems completing the download.

The patch has fixed the problem, mouse cursor stays on the primary display :cool
