Masking IP address

Looking for a way to mask or hide my ip when d/ling torrents and gaming online, would a proxy server be beneficial? if so recommendation on one to use?

 

Proxy servers tend to be slow and be good for only hiding general traffic. For gamign no real reason to hide your ip unless your trying to get around a ban, which the fine people of mg's probably wont be willing to help ya.
