maxthon installation

    Hi
    Can the new version of Maxthon be installed directly over the old, or should I uninstall the old version first and then install the new version after?

    I would suggest uninstalling the older one and installing the new maxthon. :)

    Simple enough...won't that get rid of all my bookmarks etc. though?

    You are perfectly OK installing over the top, been doing that for 18 month no problems.
