I have an Asus A7v266-e mobo. I was wondering how can i setup to monitor my northbridge chipset temperature and fan cuz all of the sudden the fan stopped working. I fixed the fan situation but I want to make sure it doesnt happen again.

Do you have the chipset driver cd that hopefully came with the mobo? Buried on there is usually a monitor program designed by the mobo manufacturer. mine is Pc Alert4, it will measure ps,case, cpu, sys fans . There may be a free version or trial out there mine comes from MSI so not sure if it will work for you.

Yea, i find it very difficult to monitor your fan speeds... They HAVE to be plugged into your mobo's fan plugs to make them report in to MBM5.
