i tried searching for an old topic on this, but like i said after setting up mandrake w/ no accounts, and i must have typed in my root pass wrong, i cant get it, i want to reinstall mandrake so i can use it, can i just pop in the cd, go through the wizard, then when the partioning comes up, delete the current mandrake then reinstall? of must i delete the mbr(which i would also need an explination on doing) then install(teh way id prefer). thanks in advance guys

Well, you can always startup your computer with 'ol dos and run:

fdisk /mbr this should (may) clear the boot record.

Or you can simply delete the partition once the mandrake cd starts up.
