Mc Afee just showed up

Good morning all, I logged onto msn today and noticed Mc Afee on the tool bar. I didn't install it, but I'm sure it crept in with something I did install. I can't find the folder where it's installed, can I please get some guidance?

What version of Windows are you running. We have to know because the instructions for uninstalling an application differ slightly between versions of Windows.

What browser are you using?
Perhaps it is Mcafee site advisor.

Who is your ISP? I ask because Comcast installed (I think someone clicked okay and agreed) Norton and some sort of safe searching toolbar while the computer already has ESET Security Suite. End result, the computer got really slow and no one knew why.

I know that for awhile Adobe was packaging it in with updates to Adobe Reader and Acrobat full version.

Did you do an update to either of those recently?

It is site advisor you are talking about because we use it corporately.

To uninstall, goto Control Panel/Programs and Features and uninstall it.

Thanks for the replies;

1) my OS is Win 7

2) Verizon is my provider

3) I haven't done an update of Adobe (did dl the flash player though)

4) I browse with Firefox, but I check my mail with msn/verizon therefore (holding nose) IE
