If you have not removed it yet, try ctrl alt delete and end the process. You neglected to tell us your operating system, so this works best with an NT based operating system like Windows XP.

Whats happening is the program is still running and you cant delete a file in use, so you need to be sure anything Mcafee related is stopped.

Check this out from McAfee. Note however you did not say what version of Virusscan nor what operating system you have (MA also said this)

    How do I Uninstall VirusScan?

Summary: This article provides steps to remove VirusScan from your computer.

      NOTE:
If at any time you are prompted to remove shared files, answer Yes To All.
    • Windows will then attempt to remove McAfee VirusScan from your computer. If McAfee VirusScan is successfully uninstalled you do not need to complete the remaining steps in this document. If you receive error messages or find that McAfee VirusScan was not completely removed then follow the steps below to manually remove the program.
