md5 checksum / hashtab

I had at one time found a small file/download where you just either dragged and dropped the downloaded file or browsed to its location and selected in and the program would show you the what the checksum/md5 value is of the one that you have downloaded and in another box it shows you what the value should be and whether or not the download has the correct checksum / md5 value (without having to find it somewhere online, calculate it or simply keep the info to compare it later).

    I hope that made sense.

Any idea where I can find something like that.

    TIA

very similar to this but it would tell you if the file / checksum was correct.

A lot of the ones that I have found you have to enter what the md5 file is to compare it to the item you have or for future comparison. This little program actually showed you what the md5 hash should be (such as for the download for something like ie7) as well and tell you if they matched.

I guess I'll just have to keep looking.

    But Thanks!
