mdac3 help

hi i have downloaded the dmac3 drivers etc but it will not install ssandra tells me i need it and loads of qick time stuff refuses to work any ideas

Just so anyone maybe a tad clearer Seaside, which drivers are you downloading and trying to install ( please link to the download page so we have an idea ) as the title says MDAC3 and in the thread you say DMAC3,

MDAC I do know of in relation to Microsoft Data Access Components but where Quicktime enters the picture with those drivers I'm lost.

mdac_typ that is all it says on the propities it is something to do with drivers .i downloaded it from the ms update site

Never noticed those drivers on WU before, which OS you using and is it fully upto date with any latest service pack?

if its failing via Windows Update then try the manual download of MDAC I guess SiSoft SANDRA needs then for database functions http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...95-EFC2-4F8E-A9E0-3A1AFBD5922E&displaylang=en in which you may also need the JET 4.0 drivers http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...c4-350e-4cd0-a12a-d7f70a153156&displaylang=en

as to the QT stuff, do you have latest version of QT installed?

and if your getting any error messages while playing QT video/audio files what are they.
