Meaning of WIN ALL in program offerings

Maybe I missed when the meaning of WIN ALL for PLATFORMS SUPPORTED changed.

This is not a complaint, just a request for clarification.

I have several Windows machines I keep mostly for tinkering - a 95, a 98, a 98 SE, a ME, and an XP.

I assumed if a program offering specified WIN ALL, it would run on any 9X, ME, or XP. machine.

I've discovered that some offerings saying WIN ALL won't run on 9X or ME machines.

Does WIN ALL now mean Windows 2000 or "better" ?

This query is primarily for the MAJORGEEKS management I didn't know how to contact.

Off the top of my head, I can say that not all programs that say they work on all versions of windows actually will - it is up to the author to test this and not MG. However if is incorrectly labeled it's best to email the authors or one of the admins on a case by case basis.
