Medal of Honor Allied Assault

I have medal of honor allied assault now v 1.1 and downloaded a mod for it..how do I get the darn thing to play mods? I can't find anything online with instructions.

 

I concur with David,be aware that there's a 1.11 patch,you really need the latest patch for mods to work correctly.

But how do they load? I start my game as normal and it only shows the regular game. I haven't found where to load them or if they are even loading..step by step would be appreciated..Thanx a mill

 

It depends which mod your tryna use,if you install a gore mod for example 'place the gore mod in the main directory' the mod should be automatically installed and should be working when you play the game,i.e there will be more gore.

Some mods 'total mods' have their own exe. which starts the game in a modified mode,others enable an option in the menu.

I believe single player maps if that's what you want to play on can be started with the console,first the maps will have to be copied to the main directory,if there is maps folder that's where they will go.
Enable console in the options menu,hit ~ to open the console then type in

maplist

to show a list of maps then type in

gamemap "Name of map"

I played MOH Spearhead alot about 5 years ago, it was a great fast paced FPS especially in multiplayer, atleast in the team deathmatch mode, objective was more sneaky.

All mod files go into your MOH "main" folder with all the the other pak3 files.....

 

you may be interested in this "tweak" I came across a few years ago as I too play this antiquated game.

add this to your shortcut by right clicking then left click on Properties,then adding in the Target area

D:\MOHAA\MOHAA.exe +set cheats 1 +set ui_console 1 +set thereisnomonkey 1 +set cl_playintro 0

then

Start in:

D:\MOHAA

Shortcut key: None

Run: Normal window

this is where I have my game installed in case C: drive should crash on me.

you will need to adjust the above information to where your install is.

I also have patch 1.11 installed
