Media card lost in printer.

    Can anyone tell me how to get into the card reader compartment of a HP Photosmart 2610 printer? I accidently put my photo card into the wrong slot and it has fallen into the abyss inside the printer. Thanks for any help you can give me.

    very high-tech tool is called for this situation.
    Take a paper clip, stretch it out,add a small piece of scotch tape at the end,stick it in the card reader hole (with the printer turned off of course).

    turned off AND unplugged :)

    if the tape doesnt work, try unscrewing the cover if its not too difficult. Dont go crazy tho otherwise it will be a b*tch to put back together :cool:
