media center and screen saver

i have media center 2003 and a win tv 150pvr mce tv tuner and when im watching my screen saver will pop up. isnt media center supposed to temporarily disable the screen saver? but anyway anyone no how i can get media center to disable the screen saver while its on?

 

Are you the system's only user (or you don't have multiple accounts set up)?

there are multiple users and i do use fast user switching

 

1. Open the Windows Control Panel, then access Power Options. Click the Advanced tab, then clear the check box for "Prompt for password when computer resumes from standby." Then go on to the next step.

2. Right-click anywhere on your Windows Desktop, then click Properties in the menu that appears. (You can also click Start > Run, then type desk.cpl.) In the Display Properties window, click the Screen Saver tab, then clear the check box marked "On resume, password protect."

That should stop it.
