Media player 10 screwed!!!!!

ok i just downloaded the new media player 10 from microsoft website, just to see what these new features were like and it's rubbish isn't it! not only does the info view centre come up but now the mini player that goes on the toolbar has disabled the button so i can't skip between tracks!!!!! what's going on here???!!!!

 

I downloaded it too and I agree it is a piece... It loads slower than an 80 year old woman on downers, you cant disable visualisations when minimized to the toolbar. the skip buttons work but you need to load a playlist or put in a CD for them to work.

 

ok i'm gonna go back to 9 series, how can i remove it cos it's not in add/remove programs in control panel?

 

you will have to goto add remove components and remove media player. then download 9 and install it

 

Actually it should have backed up the WMP 9 stuff...

 

aaah i had to select the show updates box and then media player 9 was automatically there as a backup!

 

I knew I was forgetting something! Geez. You know after hours of working with this problem and that one and so on your brains can turn to swiss cheese.

 

lol isn't that so annoying, the simplest of things can resolve the biggest of things
