Hi there again guys. I got another problem.

For some weird reason my Windows Media Player will not start unless the administrator tells it to? It also has a problem with getting it to play video.

So I said lets take delete it, but now I can’t find it? It ain’t in my programs so I’ll just reinstall the latest version of the Player from Microsoft and run over the old one. Not!

Tried the Player 11 download and got notification telling me:

“There is a more recent version of Windows Media Player (11.0.6000.6344) already installed on your computer. It is not possible to use an older installation package (11.0.5721.5146) to install files or to repair my current version of the player.”

Anybody got ideas as to how to either repair this?, or how to disable? Delete? Reinstall? this player or is there better . I’m no geek by a long shot so the simpler to operate the better.

    Thanks
    Blaine
