Media Player Classic

I have Win7. and I use Media Player Classic.

When I am on my ADMIN Account I open Media Player Classic then go into Options.

Under Formats I go to the Right and Click the Tab for Associate All Formats.
I Click Apply and Ok and all is good.

Now I Log On to my Limited Account and open Media Player Classic and go to Options.
I go to the Right Side again and Click Associate All Formats.

Then a Window Tells me you need ADMIN Rights.
So I Click Ok and a Box Opens for me to Type my ADMIN Password in.

I Type my Password in and Click Ok.

Now it takes me Back to the Formats Screen and yes every Format has a Check in it.
So now I Click Apply and it takes the Checks out of all the Formats.

And it Tells me again says I need Admin Right to Change Format Settings.

So I Click Ok and Type my Password in again and it puts the Check back in all Format.

But as soon as I Click Apply it does it again.

And goes around and around?

Am I Missing something?

 

probably not, which is why, with every passing day, a remote cabin high in the mountains, sounds better and better to me. a random thought: you can give your limited account administrative rights, make the desired changes, then go back and revoke the administrative rights, so it is limited again. good luck with it.

 

This may be the best thing to do in your situation, however another thing you could try is entering the account credentials of your limited account when it asks for credentials, instead of entering your administrator credentials.
