Media Player not "Exiting"

When I use WMP to play things...internet streams, videos, whatever...

I try exiting and if the media isn't finished the WMP keeps playing it while invisble...for streaming files it never stops...

running processes still show WMP still running...and this is the only way to truly close it...

Any ideas what might be causing this...

 

Try pressing STOP before you exit the player

Try pressing Alt+ F4 to close the player

I was unable to locate any information regarding your problem.
Do you get any kind of error message? If so you need to post it.
What version of the player are you using?
What version of Windows are you?
