media player not recognizing .m4a

hi

i am new hear, so please forgive me

my windows media player will not recognize .m4a audio files when trying to burn a cd

it only recognizes the .mp3

ie....cannot burn the .m4a audio files

what are my options?

is there a setting in media player to recognize the .m4a?

any help is much appreciated

 

Windows Media Player does not support .m4a

You can either use a player that does, such as iTunes, which you can download free from here http://www.majorgeeks.com/iTunes_d5285.html

Or you can convert the .m4a to mp3 using something like Jhymn, which you can download free from here http://hymn-project.org/jhymndoc/#downloads
