media player on vista

media player is not functioning properly when i try to watch a live radio tv show
*use to work all the time, in fact it still works fine on xp pc
* using vista on laptop and doesnt want to work (media player) when i click on the link to view the program, the media player opens but it just loads and loads without anything actually i have to start task manager to close it because the media player window just loads an everything is inaccessible (only in the media player window)
