Mediasmart Software on Windows7

Hey so I just did the clean install of windows 7. I'm using my touchsmart tx2 and now I'm wondering how to I get the software back to use my webcam, photos,video, and music ect. I tried to download off HP website-> support and drivers. But it isn't working for some reason.

 

Thats where ya get it from. The installers are really crappy. Try using 7zip on the downloaded exe (its a fancy batch file), and then run the executable from the extracted contents. Make sure its being run with admin rights.

 

this is a pain.. im trying that and its still doing the same thing, it gets to a command screen.. sits there for a while then just closes. Sometimes a windows comes up and says it didnt install correctly.

So, give me the specifics of what you are installing, and how you know its not working? I know that sounds silly, but humor me.
