Mem usage

I wanna reduce my memory usage is there any processes i can get rid of?

Best thing to do is go here: http://www.answersthatwork.com/

Click on the "Tasks" button, processes are alphabetical. Check out each one to see if it is necessary or not.

 

I don't use Firefox so that would save you a hell of a lot of RAM.

Explorer.exe, on my PC, uses only 3.5 megs to 5 megs (just now), according to Process Explorer.

Tackling those 2, will free up the most amount of RAM.

Just re-checked explorer.exe RAM usage after 30 minutes and it is up to 24 megs

I'm confused. Why does an *.exe program grow, in RAM usage? Bazza

 

bigbazza's got it right.

I don't use Firefox either because of it's being a resource hog.
