Mem usage

    I wanna reduce my memory usage is there any processes i can get rid of?

    I have attached a screenshot of my current usage.

    Best thing to do is go here: http://www.answersthatwork.com/

    Click on the "Tasks" button, processes are alphabetical. Check out each one to see if it is necessary or not.

    I don't use Firefox so that would save you a hell of a lot of RAM.

    Explorer.exe, on my PC, uses only 3.5 megs to 5 megs (just now), according to Process Explorer.

    Tackling those 2, will free up the most amount of RAM.
    Don't sweat the minor gains, start with the major RAM users first. Bazza

    Just re-checked explorer.exe RAM usage after 30 minutes and it is up to 24 megs :confused:

    I'm confused.:p Why does an *.exe program grow, in RAM usage? :confused: Bazza
