Right now I'm trying to work out how to set up an Asterisk server. I've heard it can be tricky so I thought I should give it a go

University in a month's time... woo. Unfortunately I got put on the waiting list for the halls of residence so looks like I'm going to be in a bit of trouble so far as accomodation goes. Hmmm.....

Failed my driving test yesterday 50 minutes of near perfect driving, then I decide to go through a red light. How dumb is that?

That's fine. We have to try and balance the numbers from the UK. No hope of catching up with USA, of course. We seem to be ranked #3 after USA and UK, in numbers.

It would be interesting to know the breakdown of the various countries, on MG, if that was possible.

I think it's really interesting to see where a poster is from. Sometimes you can guess by the way they 'talk', but not always.
I like the custom Avatars as well...makes it more 'Fun'

Not really sure to be honest. Right now I'm hoping that all the people who put Westminster as a backup choice are going to vanish into thin air as they go somewhere different, hopefully leaving me with a place in the halls. If not then... well, I'm going to a housing meeting next month so I might end up sharing a house with someone They'd have to put with all my computer gear, though, of which there is quite a lot. 2 Desktops, a laptop and loads of network gear in between.

My re-test is booked for next month, also. With some luck I won't do anything stupid like I did last time. It's really annoying because the whole test was completely perfect appart from that. *sigh*.

 

I believe, there once was a thread that had the locations of all the main members of MG pinned at google earth. But, can't remember where it is, or all the details.

I'm fine Phantom, and yourself? I just passed my CompTIA Network + certification. One step closer to changing my career after almost 18 years as a Union Ironworker. Start Fall semester on Monday. Taking English 102 (online) and Intro to Linux Administration (evenings). I'll write more about it later on.
