   I have a HP compac presario w/ windows XP. HP AMDTURION(tm) Technology ML-32 1.79 GHz, 384 Ram. I need to add some ram. I would like increase the ram to 1 GIG. Can anyone give me some info about adding ram to this laptop.Thanks

   Go to http://www.crucial.com/#
   and either let it scan your computer or use the memory advisor tool on the right. You supply the Manufacturer and the Product line and below you will see information about the memory used in your computer.
   Note: you do not have to buy the memory from crucial but it will give you accurate results as to max in the computer, max per slot, speed, etc.
