Totally different topic : my MS Word has started to become really slow and takes like 5 minutes to load up any document. I have no idea why and it just started doing this yesterday? Any ideas? No other programs are running slow or anything

Thanks very much for any help

That appears to be your wireless NIC driver(s). Try updating or reinstalling them.

Generic answer: Mapped drives are drives that connect to remove computers. So, if you had a drive x: that was mapped to \\somemachine\backup then this is a mapped drive.

A simple way to find what mapped drives you have is this:

    Start, Run, CMD (press enter)
    Net use (press enter)

If you get anything like this:

Then you don't have any mapped drives.....
