I have a custom built PC with Asus motherboard M4A785TD-V EVO.
I have 10 gig of memory installed. I was looking though things with System
Information for Windows 2011.10.29 Home Edition. Under memory, it shows:
Warning! Wrong values reported by Bios
    Maximum Capacity 16384 MBytes
    Maximum Memory Module Size [unknown]
    Memory Slots 4
    Error Correction None
    Dram Frequency 400.0 MHz
    Memory Timings 6-6-6-15(CL-RCD-RP-RAS)

Then it lists all the memory parameters for Slots 1,2,3. Everything is shown below. Slot 4 and 1 is identical memory. Does this mean the memory in slot
4 is bad or the Bios has a problem?
Also, when I bought the Patriot memory I was told it was an exact match
to Crucial memory. I was told the Crucial was DDR3 1066 and it is DDR3
1333. One is 667 mHz and one is 533 MHz. Is that a problem?

Looks like you have a pair of 4GB sicks and a pair of 1GB sticks, correct? I've never seen ASUS boards that one places similar RAM sticks in slots 1 and 4, always 1 and 3. Unfortunately, ASUS doesn't state this in your manual for some reason.:confused Just go with your identical sticks in slots 1 and 3 and see what happens. 8 or 10GB's won't make any difference to your performance. Then we move on if needed.

Usually ASUS boards are quite forgiving for mismatched sticks.
