I get a warning when I am closing down computer - Instructions at 0x69532777 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be read. I can't seem to find this answer to this problem, can you help me?

If it doesn't happen in Safe Mode, its not a memory problem, but an application issue.

IF everything is shut down when you go to shut down the computer, then you may be able to use a clean boot to find the culprit.

Yes, I am a new to this post. I too am getting this intermittent error message which is very irratating. When Windows is shutting down, about 3to4 seconds just before the computer turns off the error message appears: "Msvchost.exe ccSvcHst.exe Application error. The instruction at 0x69532777 referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate the program.
Before you can grab the mouse and click ok the computer shuts off.
Everthing seems to run OK with the computer, and most of the time it shuts off fine, no problems, but every once in awhile (about every few days or so) it happens again. Its not a worm or virus, not a problem that I can tell with Norton Internet security, I thought it might be a registry problem, now I'm not sure. I don't know how I got it,what it's doing, why it's there, and most of all how to get rid of it. I'm not much or good at these safe mode and try all this other mumbo jumbo stuff, so I guess I need someone who knows what this is, and in plain and simple terms try and tell me how to get rid of it. I have searched Google and other places just to find a handful of people and in other countries with the same problem and with no answers yet.
I seem to have noticed it a little more when I burn off dvd's using a program I purchased and downloaded awhile back "dvdfab platinum" which I like and seems to be a very good program, but I don't think the problem is there. I also have heard about a bug in a windows automatic upgrade download that could possibly be the cause. Hum! Well, Anyway, any super Major Geek willing to help me confused solve this annoying problem would greatly be appreciated, and thanks in advance.
