Memory failure in first 64 KB

    Computer won't boot up. I've checked the beep code and I get 3 long beeps, which indicate "memory failure in first 64 KB". I know just enough to get me into trouble. My question is;

    Can this be repaired? Or does this mean the motherboard is fried?
