memory fix

hi,is there a good free memory diagnostic about that can fix error messages saying cannot read part of memory when i boot up.if i click cancel about 10 times it goes away and everything runs fine ,but would like to solve this as its annoying

 

Memory is not like a hard disk, you can't route around it as far as I know. I suspect you have a real hardware issue, and while it hasn't hit you yet it will eventually. A diagnostic will verify if you have a problem, kind of like a second opinion. I know this site has some decent tools, but I can't personally recommend any.

You may yet have to buy some memory, but I'll step aside and let someone else recommend a good memory test to verify.

 

Memtest86+ is a good utility to test your memory. Perhaps your memory isn't seated well? I'm just grasping at straws here.
