    Hey,

I've just upgraded my built my own desktop PC using brand new parts and some parts from my old PC. The only pieces missing in the old PC are a Hard drive and RAM.

I have a stick of 256MB 333Mhz DDR, and whenever i put that into the motherboard, the PC power light flashes and all i hear is a clicking noise. Could this have something to do with the RAM, or would it be because i havn't connected a Hard Drive? To my knowledge, the PC would beep if a hard drive isn't connected.

How the hell did you manage that, ram should be key'd to fit one way around or was it not in fully as some can be a bugger to push fully in *crunch* ??
