    HELP..... :(
I have a Gigabyte Motherboard (GA-6BX7) with 2 128mb sticks of PC133 ram. I recently tried to add a 256mb but to no avail. The system start-up recognized that I had the additional RAM, but would not boot (until the 256 was removed. Got any suggestions? Where can I find a downlodable copy of the MB specs?

    Thanks in advance, :)
    Scott

Does the system function with just the 256 stick? If so, then it is likely that the two memory types are incompatible. If not, then your system may not support the number of physical IC's on the RAM stick.

Thanks for the prompt reply.....it looks as thoug my board should accept the new RAM, but I'll have to double check the settings. thanks again for your assistance.
