Memory Question

    I want to buy more memory for my pc computer. Is there sertain things that i have to look for before buying it?

    yes,

    1. Do you have an empty memory slot on your mobo

    2. What is the speed of the memory chip you have already, memory modules of different speeds will only run at the speed of the slowest, so best to get a matched speed.

    3. Manufacturer of memory, best to go with a named brand as their quality control is better that unknown generic brand.

    4. look to see what time of memory you have, if its an older system it might be SD ram, if its newer it's probably DDR ram, you must buy the same type that you already have (your motherboard will only support one or the other)
