For some reason, my computer seems to like to terminate programs alot due to the following screenshot of the error..

I dont know why. That one, was I believe terminating because of the Flash. I updated flash and that didnt help.

It also does that randomly on sites without Flash, and even in iTunes sometimes for no reason.

Post your system spec.'s and any error codes in event viewer under system and applications .....also, is this random programs or just web-based?

    Spec's

Windows XP SP2 Media Center Dimension 4700
    Ram - 512 MB
    Processor - Pentium 4 3.0gHz
    Intel Graphics

And lets see.. Firefox has done it, iTunes, VLC (VideoLan), umm.. I think thats it.

So yes, sounds like web based.

Hummm ....would be thinking ram if it was happening with all programs ...

Ever run memtest on the system?
    Memtest

Did you click on the link in the error message and see what MS$ says about it?

It doesnt say anything that helps.. just a search for windows events. Going to run memtest, see you in like a half an hour.

Nothing remotely close to even being infected.. just one file that was supposably infected but was part of something else. Blah blah.

Memtest found nothing after going to like 1016% Coverage..

    I'll try safemode I guess.

What size is your swap file? Paging file? Should be around 700 - 1000mgs.

My wireless network doesnt like safemode, so I cant do that.

I think my pagefile is disabled.. swapfile I dont know, hold on, I'll check. But I'm a tweaker for performance, so I might have them disabled for reasons.

Hmm. Well the pagefile was like 756 - 1512 something, so I set it to system managed. I dont know where swapfile is..

No idea. I went into Safe Mode w/ Networking, opened up the Netgear folder and ran <Insert Wireless Brand Number here>.exe. No internet. Went into network connections, repaired Wireless Network Connection. Nothing. Repeat, Nothing.

    Tsk tsk.

Getting late ....last option to suggest is a repair install.
Boot from cd ....enter to install .....f8 to agreement ....then when it finds your previous install, hit "R" for repair ....let her rip ...will save all files and documents and programs .....manyana ...:)
