I got a new 1GB PNY memory stick. I've been sticking files on it but now I keep getting the message that the file or folder cannot be created. I check the stick status and I have 440mb space available. I've tried saving different file types/sizes to it with no success... as well as resetting and trying again. What could be wrong with this thing??

If you do not currently have any important info on it, I recommend you format it.

Control Panel > Admin Tools > Disk Management.

Well I think I figured it out, but I don't understand it, so if it makes sense to you let me know.

I had ~121 files on it, not in a folder. If I moved those files into a folder on the stick, I could then add more files.
