Memory Test Errors on Kingston Ram

I'm getting 14 Errors in Test 7 of Memtest86+ on my brand new kingston PC3200 ValueRam.
Is this abnormal? Worth getting an RMA and returning it?

I find Counter Strike to sometimes skip or slow on my Athlon 2800, Radeon 9600 XT system and i'm not sure if this is what is causing it.

have you tested it more than once? I'd say run the test 3 or 4 times. If you get the error again, then I'd say get an RMA.

 

Yeah every time there seems to be about 10-20 errors in Test 7. I'm gonna try and get an RMA.

 

Call Kingston first.
I bought some RAM from them that tested bad and they said I had to run it at 2.7V. My motherboard had a 2.5V default. Upping the voltage cured the errors.

 

hmm well it says on the Ram 2.6V and in Bios it says the ram is revieving 2.57V so i'm assuming thats ok, but i'll call Kingston first anyway.

 

lol was just trying to figure out how to change my voltage in my Chaintech VNF3-250 Bios.... so far I can just see it and I'm unable to change it.

 

Alright, figured it out. At 2.7V i'm only getting 5 errors, 4 in test 7, 1 in test 8. This is still unacceptable though. I'm reluctant to go above 2.7V, and i'd rather not reduce my timings, as they're weak enough as it is. Any other suggestions?
