Memory testers?

OK I have looked around the boards, but not finding want I need so.....................

I wondering what ya'll think is the best memory tester. I have used Memtest & Microsoft Windows Memory Diagnostic Beta. Now though it returned no errors I feel like something just isn't right. I haven't noticed any problems other than some benchmark thingys report that my machine is not performing on par with other similar machines. Specifically the performance of my memory. I have 3 sticks of Corsair Value Select PC2700, Programs load fast, run smooth & work quite well overall. I'm usually one of the first in a new game in Battlefield Vietnam.

So........am I just being paranoid or is there something I might not have set just right? I know the settings in the BIOS are correct & I have the latency set at 2, whereas default is 2.5. I've had no issues spring up from those settings & everything seems stable enough. Just asking. Any ideas?

Well if you ran memtest86 for at least 3 passes then your mem is fine.

You may want to try prime95 and run its torture test. It tests cpu, mobo, psu, ram and heat related problems. You need to run it at least 8 hours to know your hardwrare is real good.

Any errors in either of these two programs then something is wrong.

Thnx man. I guess I'm good to go then. I ran Memtest overnight ( about 6 hours ) with no errors reported.
