memory upgrade

i have 256mb rdram is it worth the cost and will i see a difference to upgrade to 1gig

Operating system
Processor brand and frequency
Anything else that you know of relevance

 

depends on what you want to use your computer for.

if youre just into accessing the Internet, word processing, or standard home/office applications, 256 is enough

but if youre into computer-aided design (CAD), 3-D modeling/animation or heavy data processing, or if you are a serious gamer, then you will most likely need more RAM
