memory

    I just replaced the memory on an K8upgrade motherboard.

    It had 256MB of PC3200 DDR Ram

    I put a 1 Gbyte PC3200 DDR Ram in and boots up to the Windows XP screen and just sits there, the blue line that changes colors keeps running along the bottom like it is loading something, but it nevers boots into XP.

    Any thoughts?

    I checked the website for the motherboard and it says that it will handle upto 2 gbytes of PC3200 Ram.
