Merged Partitions, Now Program Won't Work!

I didn't know where to start this thread since it deals with both hard drives AND software. Feel free to move it.

Okay, here's the deal. I had 2 hard drives on my laptop - C: and D:. I had to merge them so I didn't have to worry about running out of room on the C:. I used Partition Magic 8 as suggested here and it was wonderful. All went fine except that my Incredimail doesn't work. (Please don't yell at me for having Incredimail ) I verified that all the targets/paths were correct, yet when I click on any shortcut or the actual .exe file, nothing happens. I then went to re-install it and it said "D: Drive is out of space" as it was trying to install in my D drive - but that's merged and GONE!! So what is going on here? I'm worried that other programs or functions are going to search for my D drive, but it doesn't exist anymore.

Any advice is appreciated. Windows XP.

you may have to edit the install path for incredimai in the registry.

 

Thanks for coming to my rescue, Kodo. Here's the thing...where do I find the registry so that I can change the installation path? I know where I saved the installation exe - but it automatically starts to install without letting me verify a path. I then went into Program Files/Incredimail/bin where all the files are, but the only thing there was IMSetup it won't open. I right clicked on it and I don't see anywhere that I can change a path. If you have any ideas, let me know. Thanks!
