Messenger Service...?

    Hey, error boxes apparently from Windows keep telling me about malicious viruses on my computer, and to go to www.Microsoftrepair.com to fix it. Now obviously this is some sort of spyware, to promote possibly more spyware, yet Ad-Aware AND Spybot can't find anything. Is there any other way you can think to remove this, or is it even spyware?

    go to start.. --> run
    type

    SERVICES.MSC
    hit enter

    in the list of services, find the MESSENGER service; stop it and then disable it.
