messengers wont log in

so im connected to the internet...i can view webpages and such...but aim and yahoo messenger both dont connect...any ideas?

 

this happened to me once with msn and i downloaded ipghost and changed the proxy and then exited ipghost and it was fixed dunno but there is probly another way lol

 

When this happens to me I usually restart my computer after going to the device manager and deleting my network card so it'll reinstall on reboot. I don't know if it is absolutely necessary, though because I think I did it once without deleting my card from the device manager.
