messenpass virus?

    downloaded this and avast told me it was a virus so i deleted it. any1 else found this?

    There might have been a virus in the program and when you tried to install it the virus tried to execute.

    I think Avast is giving you a false positive; I've downloaded it from all seven mirrors plus the author's site and neither AVG or Panda's online scan find anything.
