mev video file please help.

hi, i was in game today and bought an Inegral USB 2.0 flash drive, it comes with a pre-loaded movie. i followed the instructions but still could not play the film. it is a .MEV file. when i click the shortcut on the flash drive, it comes up with i box saying the file is corrupt? any help, i cannot find a video converter that can convert this file.

thats odd i have never heard of a video format in .mev, googled it and still no luck.have you tried renaming the file to .mov maybe it is just a typo that is causing it to be corrupt

 

Mev is a proprietary file by Sony for movies included with some of their MicroVault Click drives, I know of at least two movies (Men In Black and DiVinci Code that were offered on the 4 GB models. These movies have to be played from the drive. I don't know of ant other player that will play these. You may try contact Sony, assuming this is a Sony drive and see if they can replace whatever file(s) are missing or corrupted.
