MG Log in

Does anyone else have trouble not only staying logged in, but having to log in more than one time before it actually sticks? I cannot seem to find a place to set the log timeout, but it's awfully fast at the moment. Also, it seems I can't even change forums w/o being logged out.

Just me?

 

just you... at least on this end. That's pretty strange too, default cookie clear for the board is like 900 seconds( I have no idea what CP or MA have it set to). There's no way you should be getting logged out server side.. maybe clear your cookies and start them over?

 

Hmm.. I'm realizing I misspoke about getting logged out... Surely that's happening when I drop the browser. But the logging in problem.. hmm.. oh well. Just checking, Thanks.

 

when that happens. I dump all my MG cookies and log in again. Doesn't happen often though.

 

it don't happen to me, I log in thru a bookmark, thru the net. I sometimes get taken away from the computer, by the kids, and/or girlfriend, for hours. I then come back into the bedroom and find the computer asleep, but still online, and I wake it up and go on with MajorGeeks........wobbles

 

Yes, same here. Hasen't happened for a while with me, though.

LK, Not much rain here lately. Did interfere slightly with the recent Australia v Sri Lanka cricket match held in Cairns last weekend. Stopped Shane Warne cracking the world record for bowling dismissals. He did manage to equal Murali's (chucker, in my opinion) record of 527 dismissals but ran out of time. Money is a bit tight which is probably why I sound unhappy. Hopefully next Wednesday, telephone interview, but it will mean another move (to Mt Isa). Around 16 different addresses in the last 16 years, 3 different countries, 2 different states and many different towns, street addresses. The joys of contract employment. Baz
