MG mod/admin please help

There was no real forum for this to go under that I could see. So here it goes, i have a new private message and it wont let me in to my messages because someone has set the options to:

(I had no problem accessing my pm's before by any rule)
So I'm not saying you guys did this on purpose but your penalizing people like me that do more reading then posting who do get legit and send legit PMs. And having that limit kinda makes me have to spam in order to get to my PM's

Instead of just critizing the system ill try and help by offering a suggestion. If PM's are becoming a spam problem then base it off of how long a user has been registered instead of their post count (like i said i have to spam in order to get my msg) yet if you set the rule to be date registered active it would weed out most problems without penalizing people like me who dont post that often or just set up permitions that way i can get into my account (but doing that for all the legit people will become time consuming)

 

I'm not sure they can set the PM rules on how long you have been a member. You can just go to the lounge and spam with the rest of us. Many other non-posting users have had this problem when we put the new rules into effect, so just go and spam with the rest of us. Make sure your spam has some sort of purpose other than annoyance though. And make sure it is not advertising.

I'll set your post count to 50.. I will set it back to 10 some time tomorrow afternoon.. this should give you enough time to read your PM.

The PM system cannot be set to lengh of membership.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but there's always a few rotten apples that spoil the whole bunch. The spamming was an abuse of the PM system, not spamming on the board and this is why it was decided to put the 50 limit in place.

 

Thanks for the help, I wasnt sure if you could do it or not but figured it was worth a shot i was thinking it was set to a "if true then" logic and you could change what variable that has to be true equals. But then again I havent messed with coding in a couple years
