MG servers bogging down?

Went to download the new 3DMark05, and both Texas servers, and the Florida server, were way slow to start, and settled on a download speed around 20+ KB/sec. Georgia is corrently downloading at 91 KB/sec.

3DMark is a hot new download, and a large one. I suspect they're being pushed hard by the demand.

 

Big File, Insane Demand.. I bet if you try other sites, you won't even get 20Kb, rather you're more likely to get a "server too busy".

 

That's about what I figured. Georgia server is still holding up at 86 KB/sec, almost done. Either Georgia has one rockin' server, or nobody likes Georgia. LOL.

 

Hey guys, I'm a little confused here. It says that it is fir "winall" in the menu, but when reading system requirements it states differently. Which is true?


System Requirements:
- DirectX 9 compatible graphics adapter with support for Pixel Shader 2.0 or later, and graphics memory of 128 MB or above.
- Intel® or AMD® compatible processor running on 2 GHz or above.
- 512 MB system memory or more.
- 1.5 GB of free hard disk space.
- Windows 2000 or XP operating system with the latest Service Packs and updates installed.
- DirectX 9.0c runtime installed (download) with the latest updates.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 installed, for some 3DMark functionality (download).
- Microsoft Excel 2000, 2003 or XP for some 3DMark functionality.
- Microsoft DirectX 9 Summer Update 2004 System Development Kit is required to run the image quality test using the reference rasterizer.

 

About 3 hours ago i had a solid 130kbs on the Georgia server. Texas, Flordia, where holding at 20kbs, and bittorrent would'nt get past 5kbs.

Win2000/XP only. Manufacturer's specs always rule. Whoever set up the page at MG missed that.
