MG Update Checker

Hello all:
First time in the forum. I have File Hippo Update Checker and use it a lot; I recently downloaded and am trying Major Geeks Update Checker and I like it. BUT I seem to have a small problem: The program tells me that I should download/install updates to Foxit Reader and Hamster Free Video Converter. Well I did that for Foxit Reader and it still shows up on the list-how do I get the list to update and show Foxit Reader as current? Then the listing tells me that Hamster Free Video Converter has a Version 3.0.0.0 out and I should download/install it. Well when I download the program it installs Version 2.5.2.33 and it still shows up on the update listing. Any help? Sorry for the long post. Running Win 7 64 bit.

 

Its still being developed, so wait a while until issues get ironed out.

Thanks for the replies. I should have called the program 'Major Geeks Software Updater'. I now notice it is still in Beta testing; oops, I guess I was in such a hurry to try it out I never really looked at the complete description.

I guess when I use it I'll have to keep in mind there may be a few bugs in it.
