MGers lend me your brains!

Ok a month or so ago i posted that the MSI Neoplat2 mobo was going totaly fruity on me, i managed to get my hands on another one after RMA'ing. I decided to get a fresh start to i bought a 36gb raptor too. after installing everything and updating half the stuff i get the same syptoms and i was PISSED. my pc kept stalling if i launched anything other then AIM/MSN/IE etc... If i launched HL2 it crashed; if i launched SW Battlefront it crashed. So i reboot the pc and it doesnt post any more which put my heart on hold for a sec.

I figured that the only problem now could be the PSU or the CPU. I replaced the PSU with a 500W X-connect Ultra and it worked like a charm. Hurray! i went into SW BF 30seconds into the game *stalls* at this point im going bonkers. I tryed CSS video benchmark test and it passed fine w/120fps/s at 1200x800x32x2x ASx 2x FSAA. So now im confused. I ran 3dmark05 and about a minute into the fight scene the computer froze giving me alot of artifacts and weird lines. The core temp is at 50C for my GPU and the clocks are at 371.3 and 1000.2 core and ram respectively. I have updated my WXP tryed disabling fastwrites updated my mouse sound card video card and keyboard drivers too... I have no idea WTF is the problem if anyone has anything that they can help me with i would apreciate it.

You tried a different video card in there? Sure sounds like a graphics card problem to me....

 

i tryed one last time (when i had the faulty psu) but not now..will do it asap. but it seems ill be RMAing the card.
