Mhtml Files - Cant Read When Saving To Pc

Are there a good free programs for opening mhtml files?

I want to save some of my emails to my Windows 10 PC but cant find out how to do it. One site suggests using file, print then save as novaPDF 8 but I don't have novaPDF option to choose from when I try file, print. I have tried opening with Word, Java etc but the email is unreadable. Thanks

 

Use novaPDF Lite.

Limitations:

Hi Eldon. I've downloaded it. At the moment I 'm a bit bewildered by it. I will have study it to find out how to save my Hotmail messages to the PC as pdf files. Thanks for the information though. Much appreciated

 

Use an email client program. Keeping selected messages on your PC is easy peasy. Messing about with conversion to pdf is unnecessary.

 

Hi. I've already got and use MailstoreHome. It saves most of my emails but towards the end of the archive it always has an error and never saves them all. I thought it would be easier to use pdf conversion. the error message I get on Mailstore is ' WARN Worker has been cancelled (connection disconnected). An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host'

 

I'm not familiar with MailstoreHome but if it isn't working for then you may need something else. I use Thunderbird in IMAP mode on all the computers here and have done so for years without problems. Messages can be copied/moved to local folders if desired.

 

I agree with Earthling. I have been using EssentialPIM for 10 years and it includes a straightforward email client.

But, first try this:
If you can print from MailstoreHome, select novaPDF Lite as your printer.

 

Ok I will give that a go Eldon and try print from MailstoreHome. If that doesn't save in a readable format I will change my email client program. thanks to you both
