ok, so here's the deal. my mic is giving me some powerful, repetitive echo. so that when i play on steam, other players only hear the echo of my voice getting more and more distorted until it is nothing but high pitched static. this is very frustrating to say the least.

now i have no sound card so i plug my mic into the motherboard (M2N-MX SE PLUS) which has Realtek HD audio which i have some problems with before. the only program where this doesn't happen is the sound recorder program in start>accessories >entertainment with sound recorder my voice is great with no static or echo at all. so please help me because typing "SPY BEHIND YOU!" doesn't work very well.

no the feedback is not from the speakers its just whatever goes into the mic repeats itself as though it were a reoccuring echo and plays over headphones speaker... anything really.
