mic squealing...

Well anyways im back with another stupid problem... my mic is squealing not only a bit on my end but when i talk to other people either on any talking tool (ventrilo) it used to be fairly fine and it was not load or i couldn't hear it at all but now its ridiculously loud. and for some reason the sound of my game was goin through my mic to the other end when it didnt before and... i am using a microphone i have the latest drivers they are realtek hd sound built in on the motherboard. Oh ya i also dont not have speakers on or any other sort of device on in my room when using this mic. please help

yes i have tried another mic im thinking its something to do with the settings cause it works fine on my laptop which is crystal clear according to the other people and on my desktop it isnt but it has this dumb realtek hd audio manager that i think might have to do with the problem but it also cant be removed with out there be no sound so idk...
